There are additional costs associated with the sport.  Each player is responsible for the travel costs to tournaments and games. Our teams travel all over. Hotel rooms and airfare are items that are apparent.  Every other year, the player is required to purchase a new uniform kit that includes home and away jersey, backpack, warm ups, etc.  The kit is estimated at $250. Players are also required to have soccer shoes that range from $50 and up.

Students Answer the Call to Help SHAKE

STUDENTS AROUND NASSAU COUNTY VOLUNTEER FOR SHAKE (SOCCER HELPING ACHIEVE KIDS EQUALITY). As more organizations have called on us for help, SHAKE has enlisted the assistance of high school students around the county to launch soccer drives in their schools. Cleats, uniforms and shin guards find new life for a needy child. Student volunteers will collect soccer gear and then SHAKE will clean and package them for shipping.
